Sandy taught biology at Western for 28 years and lost her battle with breast cancer in May 2017. She was highly revered and loved by Western students and faculty alike. Sandy was an avid runner. So this run was created to keep her memory alive as well as to honor all those who fight the battle of cancer. \n\nThe run is open to the public. Registration is by donation and takes place right before the start of the run. All donations of any amount are greatly welcomed and appreciated and all money raised is donated to the Huntsman Cancer Institute in Salt Lake City to fund Cancer research. \n\nRegistration begins at 8:30AM.
