DESCRIPTION:Western is pleased to present\, "Uncommon Ground: 47 Contemporary Artists Working in Clay\," a juried exhibition by Peter Callas\, featuring the work of prominent wood firing ceramic artists from around the country.\n\n \n\nPeter Callas is a world-renowned ceramic with many of his own works in private collections and museums. When speaking of his selection for the exhibit Callas stated\, "They were selected for their artistic merit\, creative-minded spirit\, and unique approach to the material as well as their intangible quality of a strong visual presence."\n\n \n\nWe hope you'll join from September 9 - October 21 as this exhibit is displayed in the Art Gallery at Western Wyoming Community College.
