Student Art Exhibition

As the academic year comes to a close, Western Wyoming Community College (Western) will host an exhibition of student artworks in Western’s Art Gallery. An annual occurrence, the exhibition gives Western’s art students an opportunity to showcase, and sell, their artwork in a professional gallery setting. The Student Art Exhibition will be open for viewers from April 26, through August 30. A public reception and awards ceremony of The Student Art Exhibition will be held in the Art Gallery on the afternoon of May 9.  

The Student Art Exhibition will feature works made in a number of media including painting, printmaking, ceramics, photography, drawing, sculpture, and mixed-media approaches. Many of the original artworks in the show represent a student’s first attempt at professionally exhibiting and selling their art.
