Sweetwater Downs Horse Racing

Sweetwater Downs Horse Racing will be coming to the Sweetwater Events Complex Saturdays and Sundays starting at 1pm in the grandstands (4pm on Fridays). Horses and their jockeys from all over the western United States will be coming to Rock Springs.

“Horses are such a huge part of our ‘Western Heritage’ and they are an icon for the state of Wyoming. The horses are beautiful. This is truly an event for the entire family. Nothing is better than watching 10 horses lined up and coming down the track at 45 mph,” Sweetwater Downs General Manage Eugene Joycer said.

Whether you are betting or just watching, this event is sure to be entertaining for any equestrian enthusiast.
