DESCRIPTION:The University of Wyoming\, School of Law\, in conjunction with the Spence Law Firm and the Western Wyoming Community College Departments of History and Performing Arts present the Rock Springs Massacre Mock Trial on March 1\, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. in room 3650 at Western Wyoming Community College.\n\n\n\nThis event involves third-year law students at the University of Wyoming\, with the assistance of real attorneys from the Spence Law firm\, adjudicating a real-life historical event before a real judge and jury. This year\, the legal teams will be trying the persons involved in the historic Rock Springs Massacre of 1885\, and - for the very first time - they will take the trial on the road to the actual location of this notorious event.\n\n\n\nThis event is free and open to the public. The community is encouraged to see the event\, featuring faculty and students from Western Wyoming Community College dressed in period clothing and playing some of the witnesses and jury members. \n\n\n\nThis event is sponsored by Western's History and Performing Arts Department\, the University of Wyoming\, and The Spence Law firm.\n\n\n\nDoors open at 6:30PM with the main event starting at 7PM.
