The Red Desert is a special place that Indigenous people, Wyoming residents, and visitors have treasured for hundreds of years. Citizens for the Red Desert is a loose coalition of citizens, groups, and interests that value this landscape and want it to stay the same and free from large scale industrial activities. We are advocates of Tribal Nations, hunters, hikers, birders, history buffs, conservationist, ORV user, tourist, people of faith, rock hounds, horse and bike riders, union workers, naturalists, photographers, campers, business owners, and more. We are united in our love for this landscape and in our desire to sustain what makes the Red Desert special -- for future generations.
